Role: Maximo Domain Architect / Functional Consultant
Rate: Inside IR35, via umbrella
Contract: 3-6 months
Location: London preferred (1–2 days per week onsite). If not London-based, regular travel to London workshops is required. No remote-only option.
Overview
twentyAI's customer are seeking a highly skilled Maximo Domain Architect / Functional Consultant to lead the strategic upgrade and optimization of our IBM Maximo enterprise asset management platform. You will play a key role in shaping upgrade roadmaps, aligning Maximo with business objectives, and delivering solutions that integrate across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver upgrade roadmaps for IBM Maximo (technical upgrades, functional enhancements, new module adoption).
- Assess current Maximo environments and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Evaluate new Maximo versions and emerging technologies (Maximo Application Suite, IoT, AI/ML).
- Provide architectural leadership, ensuring standards, governance, and solution design best practices.
- Design and oversee integrations between Maximo and systems such as ERP, GIS, and SCADA.
- Work with operations, maintenance, and supply chain teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder engagement.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to successful project delivery.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience (7+ years) with IBM Maximo in roles such as Domain Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Functional Consultant.
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of IBM Maximo (7.5, 7.6, MAS) and core modules (Asset Management, Work Management, Inventory, Procurement, Preventive Maintenance).
- Proven experience delivering Maximo upgrade roadmaps and transformation projects.
- Deep understanding of Maximo architecture, database schema, and integration methods (MIF, REST APIs).
- Hands-on configuration experience (Application Designer, Workflow, Escalations, Automation Scripts).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
