HR Advisor Are you an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations expertise who thrives on solving complex challenges, influencing change, and supporting people to perform at their best? We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded HR Advisor to join a dynamic team and make a real impact.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of operational HR support, complex employee relations casework, and leading on initiatives that shape the workplace of the future.Key Responsibilities
- Provide commercially focused HR advice and operational support across the business.
- Lead on employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, investigations, and absence management.
- Mediate and resolve disputes, proactively reducing the number of formal cases.
- Support on company-wide initiatives such as performance management, benefit strategies, merit reviews, and organisational change.
- Promote a strong talent philosophy to build capability and prepare for future business needs.
- Recommend and implement policy and procedure improvements to align with best practice.
- Train and coach managers on HR processes, policies, and employment law.
- Produce documentation, guides, and toolkits to encourage self-service across the business.
- Provide expert advice on TUPE transfers, ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Partner closely with HR leadership to ensure consistent and aligned approaches.
- Occasional travel within the UK may be required.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Degree level or equivalent CIPD qualification.
- Proven HR generalist experience supporting 500+ employees.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and case law, with the ability to apply this in a commercial context.
- Extensive experience in managing employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, TUPE).
- Project management experience within HR initiatives.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; HRIS experience (Workday desirable).
