Responsibilities
- Tailor the English curriculum and teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of your students.
- Implement and adapt alternative literacy frameworks to support student progress.
- Cultivate a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Employ effective classroom management skills to ensure a productive and focused atmosphere.
Requirements
- You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role is essential.
- Experience teaching students with a range of special needs, particularly Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), is highly preferred.
- You must have an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
