This position involves teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for A-Level teaching for the right candidate.
Our schools are covered by a combination of L and PR postcodes. This includes South Sefton and the coastal towns of Bootle and Crosby (L20-L23), Central Sefton areas like Maghull (L30-L31), North Sefton and the town of Formby (L37-L38), and the main postcodes for Southport (PR8-PR9)..We offer a competitive daily rate of £150 - £220 per day, depending on experience.

Core Responsibilities:
- High-Quality Teaching: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons for secondary school students.
- Raising Attainment: Implement strategies to improve student outcomes and foster a deep appreciation for the subject.
- Pastoral Care: Provide guidance and support to students, promoting their well-being and personal development.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with parents, carers, and colleagues regarding student progress and well-being.
- Extra-Curricular Involvement: Participate in or lead extra-curricular activities, such as debating clubs or school plays, to enrich student's learning.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
- A relevant degree is required.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for English.
- The ability to build strong rapport with students and motivate them to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
