English Teacher - Prospero Teaching : Job Details

Prospero Teaching are partnered with a forward-thinking secondary school in Farnborough, Hampshire, who are recruiting an English Teacher from September 2025. The school has a reputation for fostering creativity and high achievement across its departments, with English being at the heart of its curriculum. CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Farnborough, Hampshire
• Position - Teacher of English
• Contract or position start date - September 2025
• Duration / Likely Duration - Permanent
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - Paid to scale
• Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm, plus parents evenings and department meetings.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year English teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
