English Teacher - Apex Education Recruitment : Job Details

ENGLISH TEACHER - SEN School for students who mainly have mental health, ASD and speech & language needs

START DATE: September 2024 - Full time - (salary below is based on qualified MPS scale)

We are looking for an inspirational English Teacher who wants to pursue their career with SEN students; passionate and understanding to adapt the learning to make English come alive for the students.

English Teacher Role:

• To teach the Secondary curriculum planned and adapted for the needs and ability of the students
• Teaching small classes of about 6-10 students
• Wanting to inspire and deliver a vibrant and fulfilling learning experience to maximise potential of every student.
• Full planning, assessment and evaluations of each student and working with EHCP's.
• Working as an English Teacher in a school with a great staff team incl mental health team and Speech & Language support

English Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent is essential
• Be able to teach GCSE and functional skills is essential
• Previous experience working with Special Educational Needs students would be advantageous
