They pride themselves on their talented team and are seeking a skilled Engineering Support Engineer to join their growing organization.Engineering Support EngineerResponsibilities:As an Engineering Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team by managing Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and maintaining accurate Bill of Materials (BOM). Your responsibilities will include:Engineering Change Requests (ECR):Review and assess proposed changes to engineering specifications and drawings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the impact of changes on various departments.Ensure that all ECRs comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.Implement approved changes and update documentation accordingly.Bill of Materials (BOM):Maintain and update accurate Bill of Materials for various products.Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure BOM accuracy and completeness.Monitor inventory levels and work with the procurement team to address any discrepancies.Provide support for the development of new BOMs for upcoming projects.Documentation Management:Organize and maintain engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, and change history.Ensure that all documentation is version-controlled and accessible to relevant stakeholders.Work closely with the document control team to implement best practices for document management.Technical Support:Provide technical support to the engineering team during the design and production phases.Collaborate with other departments to address any technical issues related to changes in engineering specifications.Qualifications / Experience:Engineering Degree or equivalentProven experience in engineering support roles, preferably in Manufacturing or ProductionStrong understanding of Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Bill of Materials (BOM) processes.Proficient in using document management systems and CAD software.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.How to Apply:Contact Kieran Duggan on or Lindy Ubsell at Matchtech Recruitment or apply now to submit your CV.
