Engineering Programme Lead responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of technical solutions, meeting program responsibilities with excellence.
  • Create, communicate, and manage an integrated program plan, ensuring milestones and deliverables align with the overall engineering delivery objectives.
  • Support business resource planning by providing accurate resource forecasts
  • Maintain engineering work packages to ensure effective control, governance, and compliance with quality requirements.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Continuous Improvement/Lean practices and be a strategic thinker comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Report progress against integrated plans, identifying issues and highlighting priority calls, including clear critical path analysis.
  • Engage with Program Leads, ensuring coherence, including program milestones.
  • Act as the focal point for all aspects related to allocated packages of work, managing technical risks associated with internal and external environments.

Engineering Programme Lead requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering and/or Project Management, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrable leadership of successfully delivered technical projects/tasks to time, cost, and quality.
  • Appropriate domain knowledge to facilitate dependable management of varied engineering work packages.
  • Proven experience in managing technical work packages or projects, with an understanding of product change control.
  • Experience in Product Introduction Lifecycle Management, including PCB, DDRAM, IPPR/PPAP processes.
