Engineering Manager  – Worksop

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit an Engineering Manager role based in Worksop.

As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team of engineers, ensuring machinery is maintained to the highest standard and operations run safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.  Duties will include:

• Supervising, motivating and supporting the engineering team on a day-to-day basis
• Planning, organising and monitoring workloads to meet production targets
• Leading maintenance activity across a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Driving continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to reduce cost and increase efficiency
• Managing training, development and performance reviews for your team
• Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental standards

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who can combine strong technical ability with hands-on leadership skills. You will need:

• HNC/HND or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Injection moulding experience is a must.
• Proven experience leading a team in a manufacturing or FMCG setting
• Background in electro-mechanical engineering, ideally with high-speed rotating machinery
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality regulations
• Excellent problem-solving, planning and organisational skills
• Ability to coach, motivate and develop a team while remaining hands-on when required
• Financial awareness with an understanding of budgets and cost management
• Willingness to provide out-of-hours support where necessary
