We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Engineering & Facility Coordinator to manage the day-to-day maintenance and facility operations of our cold storage warehouse. This role is crucial in ensuring that all technical installations and building infrastructure operate reliably and efficiently to support 24/7 logistics operations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Operational Maintenance & Facility Management: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal operation.
  • Planning & Coordination: Develop and manage maintenance schedules, supervise technicians and contractors, and serve as the primary facility contact.
  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain compliance with safety standards, conduct inspections and audits, and ensure all operations adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Track performance indicators, lead improvement projects, and report on maintenance effectiveness.
  • People & Contractor Management: Manage both internal team activities and external contractor relationships, ensuring high standards and safety compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance or facility management, ideally in cold storage, logistics, food production, or process industry.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical systems and controls, automated warehouse systems, and climate installations.
  • Proven experience in coordinating maintenance activities and managing contractors.
  • Good understanding of safety, legal, and regulatory requirements for industrial facilities.
  • Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Fluent in the local language; English proficiency is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to support 24/7 operations and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
