Fire and Security Systems Engineer

Location: London and Home Counties (and sometimes beyond - we like a little adventure)Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Competitive plus overtime, perks and appreciation for your brilliance

Are you a technical wizard with a knack for sniffing out faults faster than Sherlock Holmes with a smoke detector?Do you dream in cables, sensors and CCTV feeds?Do you consider yourself part engineer, part superhero (cape optional, toolbelt essential)?

Then we have the role for you

We are on the hunt for either a Fire or Security Systems Engineer to join our growing team

What You Will Be Doing

• Servicing and maintaining either fire alarms or security systems

• Diagnosing faults Keeping our clients’ premises safer than Fort Knox

• Staying on top of health and safety standards (we do not mess around)

• Delivering service reports with the precision of a Swiss watch

You Bring the Skills, We Bring the Tools

Must-Haves:

• Experience in either the fire protection or security industry

• Strong knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder systems

• Familiarity with British Standards like BS5839 and BS7671

• UK driving licence

• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Right to work in the UK and DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Nice-to-Haves:

• Industry qualifications such as FIA Units, City and Guilds, ECS or CSCS

• Knowledge of manufacturers like Eaton, Texecom, Hikvision, Kentec, Paxton

• Experience working to NSI or BAFE standards
