  • Daily Rate: £352.79 Umbrella OR £258.85 PAYE

The Greater London Authority (GLA) are seeking an Engagement & Implementation Lead to provide expert support and guidance in the engagement and implementation of the Job Families project. This role is crucial in ensuring people policies are applied fairly across the organisation, aligning with employment law and union agreements. The successful postholder will play a pivotal role in enhancing business performance and improving employee experiences through efficient policy, procedure, and process management.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support the Head of Employee Relations and HR Project Lead for Job Families to ensure the programme's aims and timelines are met effectively.
  • Provide specialist advice to leaders and managers on the engagement and implementation of Job Families outcomes.
  • Coach and support stakeholders to ensure all communications related to Job Families are clear, accurate, and aligned with programme goals.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of key documents and training materials that reflect the organisation's tone, culture, and values while being legally compliant.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with the Job Families project, Employee Relations, and HR Business Partnering teams to stay updated on all relevant activities and identify potential risks.
  • Identify trends in Job Families-related activities, offering solutions and recommendations.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all engagement and implementation activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Expertise in employment legislation and case law with a strong ability to apply this knowledge in practical scenarios.
  • Experience managing high-risk and complex employee relations cases and organisational changes.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely present technical or complex information to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a unionised environment and managing union relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change management, handle restructures, and conduct job evaluations.
