£55,000 – £65,000 (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on a wide range of employment tax issues including PAYE, National Insurance, CIS, IR35, and benefits-in-kind
- Guide clients through tax-efficient remuneration structures and termination payments
- Manage client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for employment tax matters
- Oversee compliance with UK employment tax legislation, including P11Ds and PSA arrangements
- Lead and conduct employment tax risk reviews and due diligence assignments
- Train and support HR and Payroll teams on areas such as global mobility, PAYE, and NICs
- Collaborate with other departments (Audit, Legal, HR, Finance) to deliver comprehensive advice
- Keep clients and internal teams up to date with legislative changes and HMRC developments
- Support business development activities and contribute to team knowledge-sharing
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Significant experience in employment tax, ideally gained in a UK accountancy or advisory firm
- Deep understanding of employment tax compliance and advisory work
- Working knowledge of global mobility and off-payroll working (IR35) is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with clients and internal stakeholders
- Detail-focused and analytical, with excellent project management skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
