Employment Solicitor – Northampton (Hybrid) Salary: £45,000 – £75,000 DOE (NQ–Senior Associate level)

A leading Northampton law firm is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join its growing team. This role offers excellent quality work, hybrid working and a clear pathway for career progression.

We are open to applications from solicitors at all levels – from NQ to Senior Associate – with the quality of your experience valued just as much as your PQE. The RoleYou’ll handle a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, acting for a diverse mix of employer clients (SMEs, OMBs, listed companies) and employees. Work includes:

• Advising on settlement agreements, redundancy exercises and restructuring projects
• Drafting and amending employment contracts and policies
• Providing strategic advice on Boardroom and senior management disputes
• Supporting corporate transactions (TUPE, due diligence, employment risk management)
• Representing clients at employment tribunals
• Advising on operational HR queries, data protection compliance and Modern Slavery Act issues

You will also work closely with other departments (Corporate & Commercial, Litigation, Property) on cross-team projects.

About You

• Solicitor or Legal Executive (NQ–Senior Associate level) with employment law experience
• Confident in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong communicator with excellent client care skills
• Business development experience is advantageous
• In-house experience will be considered if relevant
