About the Role

An exciting opportunity to support the development of the London employment team and to contribute to the continued growth of CMS's UK Employment group. You will be advising commercial clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment related queries. Our work is fast-paced and offers huge variety, covering the full spectrum of employment law matters. You will be involved in assisting and advising commercial clients in relation to:* investigations and complex employment claims; * mentoring junior members of the team; * experience of advising clients in the financial services sector;* day-to-day employment queries, such as disciplinary and grievance matters, maternity/family leave issues and working time questions;* more strategic projects such as compliance with new legal requirements;* corporate, commercial and real estate transactions, business transfers and outsourcings; * employment tribunal, civil court and appeal litigation; * collective matters such as restructuring, redundancies, integration and TUPE;* senior executive issues, including negotiating appointments and exits;* industrial relations and trade union matters.

About You

You will be an experienced employment lawyer looking to be part of a successful, growing, dynamic and highly collaborative team. Your experience should include some transactional work. You will be well-organised, proactive, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. A strong academic record and lots of enthusiasm are a must as we will be keen for you to hit the ground running.

We are currently looking for a Senior Associate 6+PQE.
