Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a talented Solicitor to support its expanding client base and contribute to the team’s ongoing success.
The Role:You will handle a diverse caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, primarily advising clients in the higher education and charity sectors. The work is intellectually stimulating, often involving complex legal issues within large institutions operating in a dynamic national and geopolitical context.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on a wide range of employment law matters
- Managing Employment Tribunal litigation
- Delivering training, seminars and legal updates to clients
- Supporting business development initiatives
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE in employment law
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
- Experience managing Employment Tribunal cases
- Excellent drafting, presentation and client relationship skills
- Ability to lead on matters with appropriate supervision
- Interest in delivering client training and contributing to business development
Desirable Experience:
- Advising large employers or public sector clients
- Advocacy experience
- Previous exposure to the education or charity sectors (not essential – training provided)
