Electronics Test Engineer - Holt Executive Recruitment : Job Details

Holt Executive are partnered with a high-tech, and highly innovative Space solutions leader that are focused on the design, development and support of electronics-based systems, spanning products for satellite simulation and test, Electrical Ground Support Equipment, TT&C, TM/TC systems, modems, and data processing systems.Our partner is seeking a Test Engineer to support with the integration and testing of their products.Key Responsibilities for the Test Engineer:

• Testing products at Module (PCB), Sub-assembly, Unit, and System Level using pre-defined procedures.
• System integration and configuration control/management.
• Developing and validating Python-based automated test scripts and corresponding test procedures.
• Investigation and troubleshooting hardware/system anomalies.
• Defining and implementing new test setups and environments.
• Documenting test environments.
• Translating customer/user requirements into test specifications/procedures in collaboration with the hardware and software engineers.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports and support in the preparation of delivery data packages.

Key Skills & Experience for the Test Engineer:

• Education (Senior Secondary Vocational Education) in Electronics, or a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Hands-on experience with electronic test and measurement equipment (Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generators).
• Knowledge/experience in RF (radio frequency) would be an advantage.
• Knowledge/experience in the development and maintenance of automated test environments would be an advantage.
• Experience within the Space or Aerospace industry is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
