Electrician - Randstad Construction & Property : Job Details

Are you an experienced Electrician looking for an exciting opportunity in the energy sector? We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team, based in the North East with opportunities for national travel. This is an ongoing contract role that offers the chance to work on a variety of projects involving AC and DC equipment installation into cabinets, as well as power cable installation, MCB setup, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair AC and DC equipment into cabinets.
• Conduct installation of power cables, MCBs (Miniature Circuit Breakers), and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Travel nationally as required for project assignments.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably within the energy sector.
• 18th edition.
• Inspection and testing.
• IOSH working safely.
• Emergency first aid at work.
• Asbestos awareness.
• Manual handling.
• BPSS security clearance.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel nationally for project assignments.
• Full UK driving licence.
