Electrical Technician – HGV/Automotive

We’re hiring for an experienced Electrical Technician to join a cutting-edge defence project assembling one of the UK’s most advanced infantry support vehicles. This is your chance to be part of something big—working with a highly skilled team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Install, wire and integrate electrical components on large military vehicles
• Diagnose and repair faults using technical drawings and diagnostic software
• Carry out static testing and support vehicle acceptance testing
• Order parts, manage documentation, and liaise with multiple departments
• Attend training in Munich (all expenses paid) before moving to the UK site
• Drive and move vehicles onsite (training provided)

What we’re looking for:

• Level 2 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance or Auto Electrical (or equivalent)
• A valid UK driving licence
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or automotive environment
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions
• A great team player who can also work independently and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel for initial training

Bonus if you have:

• Level 3 qualifications in vehicle maintenance
• SAP experience or strong Excel skills
• Previous experience on HGVs, defence vehicles, or in an automotive production setting
