Job Title: Electrical SupervisorLocation: LiverpoolSalary: £45,000Overview:A great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead the electrical aspects of renewable energy installations, including solar PV and heat pump systems. This role offers involvement in end-to-end project delivery from planning through to commissioning, with a strong focus on compliance and quality assurance.Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise electrical teams across renewable installations (solar, heat pumps).
• Carry out desktop surveys and ensure compliance with BS7671 and other standards.
• Oversee grid applications and DNO coordination.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and quality checks of electrical systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics and maintain certification documentation.
• Ensure H&S compliance and deliver toolbox talks.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.

Skills & Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• ECS Gold Card or equivalent (essential).
• Strong experience supervising electrical work in renewables.
• Good knowledge of solar PV, battery storage, and grid requirements.
• Health & safety awareness and site management practices.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• 2391/2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualifications.
• Experience with battery storage or EV charger installations.
• MCS and PAS 2030 experience.
• SMSTS/SSSTS or equivalent site supervision qualification.
