Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation have the pleasure of working exclusively with an industry leading manufacturing client in the Barnsley area who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their well established team. Salary: £46,200Location: Barnsley Hours: Days and afters – Monday to Friday

Duties of a Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Mechanical Control Systems.
• Attending to breakdowns
• Actively working with the continuous improvement team to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be!
• Dealing with PPM’s
• Working within a team environment- you will usually be partnered up with another Electrical Engineer throughout the day
• Fault finding on PLC’s

Desired experience of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
• It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Ideally have experience with CNC/ wood working machinery
• Have experience of working within a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role previously
• Knowledge and experience of PLC’s would be advantageous
• Must be happy within a team environment, whilst also being capable of working from own initiative
