Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Thatcham - Newbury

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Shifts: Panama (2 on 3 off, 3 on 2 off), rotating Days & Nights (12-hour shifts)

We're currently recruiting Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join a leading manufacturing company based in Thatcham - Newbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a stable and ambitious business that truly values its engineers.

• Carrying out planned and preventative electrical maintenance

• Responding to electrical breakdowns and fault-finding to ensure minimal downtime

• Working on a variety of systems including motors, sensors, relays, control panels, and drives

• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

• Fault-finding on PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley)

• Working closely with other engineers in a multi-skilled team environment

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or a relevant electrical qualification

• Strong background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or FMCG environment

• Practical experience with single-phase and three-phase systems

• Knowledge of safety circuits, motors, drives, and automation systems

• A proactive, team-focused attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
