Our client, operating in the data centre sector, is currently seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team permanently in the Helsinki and Espoo area. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in managing and maintaining electrical systems within cutting-edge data centres.
This role is paying up to €70,000 per year + weekly allowance + sole-accommodation + flights & travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems within data centres
- Conducting regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards
- Collaborating with internal teams and external contractors to oversee installation and maintenance activities
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues and providing efficient solutions
- Ensuring all electrical engineering projects adhere to industry regulations and standards
- Maintaining detailed documentation and records of electrical systems and projects
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve energy efficiency and system reliability
- Supporting the planning and execution of data centre expansions and upgrades
Job Requirements:
- Experience in electrical engineering, particularly within the data centre environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues
- Understanding of industry regulations and safety standards related to electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Relevant electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification
