You’ll work in a hands-on, director-led environment that values collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.What You’ll DoAs an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll take ownership of designing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality electrical systems across diverse projects:

• Design & Development: Create full electrical service designs including lighting, power distribution, fire/safety systems, structured cabling, and smart controls.
• Technical Documentation: Produce detailed calculations, load schedules, single-line diagrams, technical reports, and CAD/Revit drawings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with civil, structural, mechanical, and sustainability teams to deliver fully integrated solutions.
• Sustainability: Support energy-efficient and low-carbon designs using in-house modelling tools and industry best practices.
• Site Engagement: Conduct site surveys, inspections, and assist with commissioning and handovers.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams during design reviews and site visits.
• Compliance: Ensure designs meet UK regulations and standards (BS 7671, CIBSE, Building Regulations).
• Quality Assurance: Contribute to technical QA, risk management, and value-engineering processes.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications: BEng/MEng or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• Experience: 3–7 years in building services electrical design (consultancy or contractor).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical design tools; CAD/BIM software (Revit experience preferred).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK wiring regulations and CIBSE standards.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, client engagement, and team collaboration.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to deliver precise, high-quality designs.
• Career Ambition: Aspiring toward or maintaining chartership (IEE/CIBSE/IET/MICE).
