This is a key hire, offering you a unique opportunity to lead electrical design projects and contribute to impactful, sustainable engineering solutions.

You’ll take ownership of designing electrical distribution systems up to 11KV, producing technical drawings and calculations, and collaborating with both external consultants and internal teams. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, this is your chance to make a real impact in a business that values innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design detailed electrical distribution systems up to 11KV, ensuring compliance with the latest standards
• Produce technical drawings and documentation using industry-standard software
• Perform electrical design calculations and develop LV and MV switchboards
• Specify cables and protection systems, and create switching schedules
• Maintain project timelines and deliverables, ensuring seamless collaboration with external consultants and stakeholders

About You

• Experience in electrical design engineering
• Proven experience in designing electrical distribution systems up to 11KV
• Proficiency in design software and calculation tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field
