Overview

My client, a well-established utilities and energy organisation, is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering clients end to end electrical design delivery as well as installation and maintenance of solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development and execution of electrical designs.
• Collaborate with wider engineering teams to create outline designs as well as project specifications.
• Review peer’s designs and provide feedback.
• Manage the approvals process by clients and third parties ensuring alignment with project requirements, schedules, and budget constraints.
• Ensure the implementation of electrical designs occur safely and efficiently within live sites.
• Generate comprehensive reports and documentation following document control procedures.

Requirements

• BSc or BEng in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of commercial Electrical Design Engineer experience.
• Hands on experience working with transformers, low-voltage/high-voltage systems, CHP, and related systems.
• Advanced skills in electrical engineering designs and strong understanding of construction principles/processes
