Electrical Assembly Technician - Time Recruitment : Job Details

Formed in 1998, Not only have they become the leading manufacturer of tray sealing machinery and tooling in the UK but are now also recognised as a major force internationally with manufacturing facilities throughout the world. Shift Pattern: working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.00 - 16.30hrs, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15 minutes per day. A total of 40 hours per week. With overtime readily availableMain Responsibilities: * Ensure assembly and build quality is of the highest possible standard. * Ensure machinery is fully PDI'd and tested prior to delivery. * Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns. * Being self-disciplined, proactive, and hard working. * High degree of interpersonal skills and communication skills. * Working to deadlines and delivery dates. * Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded. * Escalate any build anomalies to relevant persons. * On-site commissioning and customer training. JOB DESCRIPTION * Principally be responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies. * Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and pneumatic circuits. * Manage and keep your electronic parts lists accurate. * Can carry out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of Proseal equipment.* General engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping. * Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed. Qualification: * Time served with C&G or modern apprenticeship.
