EL/PL Litigation Executive - Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment : Job Details

My client are a progressive, modern firm who are at the forefront of Personal Injury from RTA to serious, complex injuries and clinical negligence across the UK. They are looking to recruit a Litigation Executive to join their EL/PL team. Various levels of litigation experience will be considered. This role is a standard fast track non portal position.Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• A Personal Injury Litigation Executive dealing in pre and post litigation EL/PL
• Manage between 100-125 files at any one time
• Working to court deadlines
• Liaising and Reporting to insurers
• Ensuring limitations dates are met
• Writing letters negotiating settlements
• Witness Statements
• Letters of Instruction
• Reviewing medical reports
• Issuing court proceedings
• Use of in-house case management systems
• Keeping up to date with regulatory changes
