eCommerce Director - Agency, Beauty Brand - £60,000 - £70,000

A Global Media Network Agency, working with one of the largest a large Beauty umbrella - a relatively new client win so a great opportunity to own & develop this relationship for eCommerce, Amazon & Retail Media!

Central London - 3 days per week in the office.

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking an eCommerce Director to join our expanding activation team in London. If you are passionate about driving eCommerce growth for a portfolio of global brands, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Your primary responsibility will be to enhance our client's Amazon performance in Europe for a prominent skincare brand. This role involves leading a team of 5-6 members and reporting directly to the Head of eCommerce.

You will collaborate with local agency teams to create award-winning platform campaigns, utilising all aspects of Amazon's advertising ecosystem to build brands and boost sales. Your task will be to determine the optimal mix of media channels and tactics on Amazon, including Sponsored Ads/Search, DSP Display, Video, Twitch, Live, and Off-Amazon media.

• Master Amazon's Advertising ecosystem and stay passionate about Amazon, retail media, and eCommerce.
• Identify and capitalise on new growth opportunities within Amazon, advising on tools and technology for efficiency
• Collaborate with other agency teams to ensure Amazon media strategies align with broader Retail Media and Communications Plans for brands.
• Confidently analyse multiple data sources, highlight relevant KPIs, draw key insights, and provide contextual commentary.
• Assist clients in planning and developing retail media budgets and KPIs, guiding the team in campaign execution to meet objectives.
• Offer recommendations to improve sales and margins through effective retail and marketing planning.
• Lead quarterly reviews and develop test & learn roadmaps.
• Manage a team of eCommerce specialists, ensuring high-quality output and acting as the escalation point when necessary. Mentor the team through their annual reviews.

You:

• Experience in eCommerce activation through platforms like Criteo, Amazon Advertising Platform (AMS, AMG, DSP), CitrusAD, and other retail players.
• Solid background in eCommerce, particularly in paid search (PPC/Search Engine Marketing), DSP or programmatic activation, retailer eCommerce activation/performance display at a digital agency or client-side, and team management.
• Demonstrated ability to implement multi-channel media strategies, advising on the right mix of Amazon search, DSP, and other media tactics, while coordinating with organic and retail strategies to drive sales.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Enjoy educating clients about eCommerce and optimising search to boost eCommerce efforts.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to deeply analyse performance reports.
• Experience in performance analysis, forecasting, and creating detailed reports.
