Early Years Teaching Assistant (TA) | Watford, Hertfordshire | 08:30 - 15:30

Monday-Friday | Full-time | Term-time only

Randstad are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Early Years (EY) Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our schools in Watford to be part of their dynamic team. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young learners in their crucial early years of education, as well as expanding your experience working as a TA.

Responsibilities of your Early Years TA role:

  • Provide one-on-one support to children with varying abilities and learning styles
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Promote educational and social/emotional well-being, fostering a culture of respect in the classroom
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team and parents to ensure effective communication
  • Assist in observing and assessing children's progress, contributing to the ongoing evaluation of individuals

Requirements for the Early Years TA role:

  • Level 2 or 3 in childcare (desirable)
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting (essential)
  • A genuine enthusiasm and passion for working with young children
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
