About the Role & Responsibilities

This full-time Nursery Assistant position is integral to the school's wrap-around care, with shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM. As a key member of the friendly nursery team, you'll provide high-quality daily care and supervision for young children. You'll collaborate closely with the Nursery Teacher, helping to deliver engaging educational activities and ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all. This school boasts excellent outdoor spaces and a forest school, perfect for Early Years exploration and discovery. We're also keen to hear from experienced Room Leader candidates looking for their next challenge.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality daily care and supervision as a dedicated Nursery Assistant or Nursery Practitioner.
• Supporting the Nursery Teacher with engaging Early Years educational activities.
• Ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment.
• Assisting with meals, snacks, nappy changing, and toilet training support.
• Communicating effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

What We're Looking For

• Qualifications: Essential Level 3 Childcare or Level 3 Early Years Qualification, such as a Diploma in Childcare and Education, Diploma for Early Years Educators, or Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner.
• Experience: Required teaching experience in an Early Years or nursery setting.
• Skills: A genuine passion for teaching young children, patience, creativity, strong communication, and a proactive team approach. We highly value an Early Years Educator who can contribute positively to our team.

Salary & Benefits

• Day Rate: £105 - £115 per day (depending on experience and shifts).
• Contract: Long-term with the potential for a permanent position.
