Dozer Driver - VGC Group : Job Details

We are looking for Dozer Drivers for D10 and excluding D10 machine to join HS2 site based in Water Orton, Birmingham.

Successful candiate oudl require to have Rubber Duck and Heavy Excavator qualifications as well.

Requirements:

• CPCS Card Blue card or CPCS red card

Start date: Immediately

Rate: £25.64 ph paye

Working hours: 7:30am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday (1 hour break each day)

Overtimes:

Weekends at x1.5, for doing more then 10 hours per day, each hour at x1.33

As a plant operator (Dozer over 10 tonnes), you will be responsible for using Dozers over 10 tonnes to do tasks such as removing soil or dirt, moving equipment around a site, or creating new structures.The job role of a plant operator involves the following duties:- Moving earth with dozers - Preparing the dozers for site and road travel / Conducting all operational and pre-start checks- Travelling the dozers over different terrain, including rough, undulating ground whilst unloaded and loaded- Manoeuvring progressing to confined spaces in and forward and reverse direction- Positioning the dozers to receive loads- Loading procedures- Loading characteristics, integrity and security- Discharging loads into trenches and over edges- Carrying out safety checks and keeping machines running properly- Changing buckets and other machine attachments- Working on building sites doing noisy, physically demanding and messy work.
