Domestic Gas Engineer - newtons property solutions : Job Details

Newtons is a fast growing family run business based in Hackney. We work exclusively for estate agents across London in mid to high level rental properties. We are looking for somebody to join our friendly and growing team and help push our business to the next level.

Duties of a Gas Engineer will be:

• Boiler Servicing
• Landlord Gas Safe Certificates
• Boiler Break downs on all models of boilers
• Installation of combi and system boilers *ideal but not essential
• Report writing and sending photos
• Installing Gas cookers and hobs
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Changing central heating pumps and valves
• Power flushing
• Working on cylinders, unvented and fault finding and changing parts
• Some general multi-trade skills would be beneficial

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9-6 pm *negotiable, overtime available.

Areas we cover - North and East London

The skills we are looking for in a Gas Engineer are:

• Must have good communication skills
• Must have a Full Clean UK driving license
• Must be used to sending reports and be very clear on giving information
• Ideally, 3-5 years working background but will consider less
• CCN1
• Must Be Gas Safe Registered and have a valid license
• Ideally have unvented qualification
• Must have your own tools.
