Domestic Electrician - Gas Worx Southampton : Job Details

An experienced Domestic Electrician with at least 5 years of experience is needed to join our team at Gas Worx, a leading boiler installation, servicing, and repairs company based in Eastleigh, on a full-time basis. 

We are looking to hire a driven, proactive and focused electrician who is looking to be part of a growing team to serve the local areas with electrical works, including wiring heat pumps, air conditioning units, electric boilers, car chargers, fuse boards and mini fuse boards. The candidate must be able to survey, install and complete the required registration paperwork. 

They will be solely responsible and required to complete all electrical work. We work as a team, and our plumbing engineers will be on-site alongside the electrician, the candidate will not be expected to discuss pricing with the customers.

Required Experience:

• Full clean driving licence 
• NVQ Level 3 qualified electrician
• 18th Edition current regulations 
• 2391 Inspection and Testing 
• Minimum 5 years experience 
• Part P Domestic Installation work 

Desirable Experience:

• Able to install solar and battery storage, although training can be provided to upskill in this area
• BPEC - Installation and maintenance of PV systems 
• EV charger installer
