We are seeking a Male Domestic Abuse Support & Outreach Worker to join our passionate team. This role is all about supporting male survivors of domestic abuse, helping them to rebuild their lives, and ensuring their voices are heard.

You'll be providing high-quality support to men at standard and medium risk, guiding them through safety planning, recovery, and-where needed-the criminal justice process. You'll also be at the forefront of developing our outreach work, finding new and creative ways to connect with male survivors and the professionals who work with them.

What you'll be doing:
  • Offering 1-to-1 support to male survivors to help them make positive, lasting changes.

  • Working with agencies like the police, social care, and partner charities to deliver joined-up support.

  • Attending events, building relationships, and increasing awareness of services for male survivors.

  • Delivering training to professionals to improve understanding and responses to male survivors.

  • Gathering feedback from service users to ensure our work is survivor-led.

  • Recording casework and outcomes accurately to help us measure our impact.

  • Supporting safeguarding for children and adults as part of Equation's safeguarding team.

  • Helping with campaigns, resources, and marketing to ensure male and LGBTQ+ survivors are represented.

We're looking for someone who:
  • Has experience supporting people affected by domestic abuse or in a similar support role.

  • Understands the specific needs of male survivors and can respond sensitively and effectively.

  • Can work in partnership with other organisations to deliver holistic support.

  • Is confident delivering training and speaking to groups.
