BRAND NEW CONTRACT JOB OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITHIN A GLOBAL COMPANY FOR A SC CLEARED DOMAIN ARCHITECT

• Contract job opportunity for a Domain Architect working with a major consultancy on mission-critical projects.

• Day Rate up to £644 per day INSIDE IR35
• Due to the nature of the work you will need active SC clearance to start and be a sole British National
• Hybrid role - Barrow-based organisation.

WHAT WILL THE AVAYA DESIGN ENGINEER BE DOING?

• The Domain Architect (DA) is assigned to a Managed Services Service Line as a Design Authority for a particular technology domain working primarily on a Managed Services contracted Account.
• The Domain Architect provides Design Authority for the Service Line during the key governance stages of the end-to-end Solutions to Project to Run process within a Managed Services contracted Account.
• Working closely with the Client, Account Lead Architect and Account CTO, plus any technical engineering teams as required, the Domain Architect ensures that coherent and consistent Design Authority is applied to one or more specific domain areas aligning with the overall technical strategy of the MS Service Line. The DA may provide advisory services to both the client and internal stakeholders ensuring that any technical direction maintains an alignment to both the MS Service Line Strategy and the Account Technology Strategy.
• The domain architect will be an expert in their technology domain, while also having the ability to think strategically and understand the balance between enabling the Clients requirements while aligning with the MS Service Lines strategy. They must be able to balance the needs of the business within the technical constraints of their domain and contractual constraints of the Account. The DA must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• The Domain Architect will be comfortable governing SDDs, HLDs and LLDs as required.

WE NEED THE AVAYA DESIGN ENGINEER TO HAVE….

• Expert in the technology domain
• Significant experience working in a Managed Services contracted Account environment.
• Significant Design Authority Experience governing solution designs, HLDs, and HLDs
• Understanding of Contracts and Commercials
• Certification in relevant technologies or architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple.
• Excellent client facing skills.
• Solid understanding of architectural principles, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
