We are seeking a Document Controller to join our team in Bristol on a permanent basis.

As a Document Controller, you will be at the heart of ensuring project success by maintaining robust documentation operating procedures. Working within our Configuration Management & Document Control team, you’ll collaborate on core product configuration and documentation, helping to safeguard data integrity, support compliance, and drive efficiency across the business.

This role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact, work closely with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our document management practices.

This is a permanent, hybrid role, based in Bristol that requires candidates to achieve SC Security Clearance.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage document numbering, revisions, and quality control in line with project standards.
  • Maintain project documentation, including uploads and distribution of data packs.
  • Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to process and review technical data.
  • Support document management tools, ensuring deliverables meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports for the Project Manager.
  • Develop and deliver staff training, including in-house tutorials.
  • Coordinate project activities and contribute to method and process improvements.
  • Promote best practices, drive continuous improvement, and support pre-sales processes.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience of product configuration and documents management.
  • Industry best practices in documents management.
  • Willingness to learn and develop others.
  • Experience in a Customer facing role.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and methodical working style.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience of working in engineering environment.
  • Working knowledge of compliance and quality control.

Candidates must be eligible for SC Security Clearance.

Employment Type – Permanent, Full-time.

Salary – £32k-£35k per annum, Medical and Dental Insurance, Pension.

Location – Bristol, Hybrid, 3 days remote, 2 days in the office

We operate a hybrid working principle, so the role could partially be worked from UK home as well as being delivered on Client and CIMPA sites, with regular visits to site as needed. Travel may be required.
