Document Controller - Randstad Construction & Property : Job Details

Are you a Document Controller with a passion for ensuring project success and a strong understanding of Viewpoint software?

We have a urgent role working with a UK leading Tier 1 main contractor to work on a new build scheme in Cambridge on a short term freelance contract with potential for extension. Applicants must be well versed in using Viewpoint DC software in order to be selected.

Duties:

• Developing and implementing document control procedures, ensuring project compliance.
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records, including drawings, specifications, approvals, and correspondence.
• Ensuring timely document distribution and managing access.
• Providing technical support and advice to the project team.
• Proactively identifying and resolving document control issues.
• Regularly reporting on document control status, ensuring transparency.
• Updating project packs and O&M manuals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Document Controller on large-scale construction projects, preferably with a Tier 1 contractor.
• Able to start Immediately
• Proven experience working with Viewpoint software.
• Excellent organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications.
• A commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
