Director of Research and Development - McGregor Boyall : Job Details

A leading Telecommunications organisation is looking for a Head of R&D to lead new intitiatives and spearhead innovation.

This is a permanent position and compensation is open for negotiation.

Core Responsibilities:

• Craft the R&D strategy, collaborating with HQ, mapping out the broader 5-Year strategic outline.
• Keeping updated on the latest trends and finding opportunities for new research initiatives.
• Oversee and guide an evergrowing team of R&D engineers.
• Assist in planning through collaboration with project managers, design leads and architects to ensure project viability and delivery.
• Be a powerful ambassador at international gatherings.
• Manage both internal and external stakeholders.

Core skills:

• Masters level reached in a relevant discipline(Minimum).
• 5+ years acting in a leadership capacity within a research setting.
• Strong people management skills.
• Open to undertake global travel.
