Director of Indirect Procurement - Bis Henderson : Job Details

We're looking for a commercially astute, results-driven senior leader to spearhead a group-wide indirect procurement transformation. Reporting to the CFO, you'll deliver significant cost savings, sharpen procurement maturity, and secure exceptional supplier terms through world-class negotiation. This high-impact role demands a proven procurement change-maker with the credibility to influence at the highest levels and the drive to deliver measurable, lasting value.Key Areas:

• Lead a group-wide indirect category strategy across marketing, supply chain, technology, professional services, Property & FM.
• Build and embed best-in-class procurement structures, processes, and tools to drive transparency, governance, and measurable value creation.
• Negotiate high-impact supplier agreements to deliver year-on-year savings, improved terms, and innovative solutions.
• Strengthen supplier relationships through segmentation and strategic focus, ensuring maximum return on investment.
• Oversee property and facilities contracts, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with growth plans.

Experience:

• Proven success leading multi-category indirect procurement in retail, ecommerce, or consumer-facing sectors.
• A strong track record in cost reduction, commercial improvement, and procurement process transformation.
• Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills at senior level.
• Hands-on leadership with the ability to build high-performing teams and deliver results at pace.
