General overview:
You’ll take strategic ownership of our clients’ marketing, leading both tactical execution and long-term direction. Your mission: drive high-quality B2B lead generation, elevate digital presence, position senior leadership as sector thought leaders, manage high-impact integrated campaigns, and ensure brand consistency across channels, comms, events, and the Shopify parts store.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Funnel Management
- Design and operate performance-driven lead generation campaigns across search, social, email, partnerships, and referral channels
- Own the marketing-qualified lead (MQL) pipeline—optimise volume, quality, and conversion, working closely with Sales
Integrated Campaign Planning & Execution
- Manage multi-channel campaign delivery: paid, organic, email, events, PR
- Coordinate asset creation, messaging, timing, targeting, and budgets
- Monitor campaign performance and continuously iterate
Thought Leadership & SMT Profiling
- Position its senior team (SMT) as visible, trusted industry authorities
- Own editorial planning and execution of blogs, white papers, LinkedIn content, webinars, and speaking engagements
Digital Presence & Shopify Content
- Manage website, Shopify storefront, email, social, and paid platforms
- Optimise SEO, UX, CRO, and digital storytelling—aligning content with campaigns and commercial objectives
Strategy, Planning & Budgeting
- Deliver the annual marketing strategy tied to commercial KPIs and company objectives
- Manage marketing budgets for maximum ROI
- Present monthly and quarterly performance analyses to the Commercial Director and SMT
Customer & Market Insights
- Develop ICPs and buyer personas based on customer data and external research
- Conduct competitor benchmarking, market trend analysis, and customer surveys to inform strategy
Tech Stack & Operations
- Oversee CRM (e.g. HubSpot), GA4, email platforms, CMS, Shopify, analytics dashboards
- Ensure clean data, accurate metrics, lead scoring, attribution, and lifecycle tracking
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Product, Finance, and Customer Success to inform and align strategies
- Contribute marketing insight during product launches and company planning cycles
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all marketing activity adheres to GDPR, email opt-in regulations, and general compliance
- Escalate and manage any PR or brand-risk scenarios
Team Leadership & Development
- Line-manage and mentor the Content Executive and Creative Designer
- Set objectives, conduct reviews, and build team capability
Experience & Competencies
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years in B2B marketing, with strong expertise in campaign management and lead generation
- Proven ability to run integrated performance marketing, content-led and event-based programmes
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems, Google Ads/LinkedIn Ads, GA4, CMS platforms, Shopify
- Excellent communicator, strategic thinker, and confident presenter to senior stakeholders
