Your new role

We are seeking a confident, proactive Digital Outreach & SEO Executive to join our growing marketing team in championing our mental health and wellbeing resources across the web. We are open to offering a full-time or part-time position.

The Digital Marketing department is integral to Happiful. We ensure our expert articles, directories and magazine content reach people right when they need trustworthy guidance. We embody "work hard, play hard", and are looking for a team-mate who’ll do the same.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan to increase high-quality backlinks and domain authority.
• Research and build target lists of websites aligned with our mission.
• Craft tailored outreach emails and campaigns using our CRM tools, adapting messaging and tone for each audience.
• Monitor link placements, referral traffic, and SEO performance - refining tactics using data and insights.
• Establish longer-term collaborations with authoritative organisations.
• Negotiate joint opportunities like guest posts, content swaps, and co-marketing projects.
• Collaborate closely with the wider Marketing Team to ensure outreach supports search strategy and business goals.
• Launch outreach around new content and seasonal campaigns.
• Report on the impact of backlinks and partnerships using tools such as SEMrush and Google Analytics.

What we're looking for

• Experience in SEO and link building.
• Strong research skills and ability to identify high-authority websites and organisations.
• Confident and articulate written communication with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages.
• A solid understanding of SEO principles and the importance of backlinks to organic visibility.
• Experience using tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, and outreach platforms.
• A self-starter with strong organisation and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for mental health, holistic wellbeing or personal development is a big bonus.
