DevOps Engineer - DV Cleared - Searchability : Job Details

• Gloucester/Cheltenham location
• Must hold active enhanced DV clearance
• Up to £85k DoE plus bonuses and package
• Experience in Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD, AWS, Ansible

WHAT WILL THE DEVOPS ENGINEER BE DOING?

A successful candidate will bridge development, testing, infrastructure, operations, and system administration for efficient software delivery. Your role involves using processes and tools to help Software Engineers convert code into usable software and environments. This requires coding, process refinement, teamwork, and communication skills, along with a strong grasp of software development and deployment. Working in a diverse team, you'll need a broad range of technical and interpersonal abilities to implement DevOps practices and ensure continuous value delivery across various domains.

THE DEVOPS ENGINEER SHOULD HAVE….

• Active enhanced DV clearance
• Experience in automation, orchestration, and deployment

Familiarity with a number of these technologies:

• Jenkins
• Java/Python
• Ansible
• Docker
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Kubernetes
• AWS
• Linux Sys Admin for deployed clusters
