£25k-£29k | Exeter - On Site | Early finish on a Friday

Our client, a market-leading manufacturer, is seeking a Development & Support Engineer to join their Exeter-based team.

The role offers Monday - Friday working, Flexible hours, with an hour earlier finish on a Friday!

You will need a valid UK driver's licence to apply for this role.

Development & Support Engineer responsibilities include: -

• Assist with the development of new and existing products
• Resolving escalating technical issues
• Monitor feedback from customers to identify trends, recurring issues or potential improvements
• Provide general support to the department

Development & Support Engineer requirements include: -

• Proven and demonstratable interest in mechanical engineering
• Excellent communication skills with a willingness to engage with customers to resolve technical support issues
• Experience in computer-aided design (CAD), with a preference for Solid Works
• Knowledge and understanding of the following would be desirable: sheet metal fabrication techniques, Quality and Quality Control and an Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM)
