Role: 3 x Development Engineers – Junior, Middleweight and Senior

Location:  Leicester, LE8Hours: Full-time – 8.00AM – 5.00PM (FRIDAY 08.00AM – 4.00PM)

About the Role

Our client is looking for 3 x Development Engineers specifically within POS & POP displays  - 1 x Junior, 1 x Middleweight and 1 x Senior Development Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating development solutions that match client design and technical needs
• Designing for efficient in-house or outsourced manufacturing
• Carrying out site surveys when needed (own vehicle use)
• Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth project delivery
• Following company policies and communicating any issues to your manager

Candidate Criteria – Essential

• All candidates must have relevant experience within POS & POP displays within retail and FMCG. Your application will not be accepted if you do not have this experience
• AutoCAD skills
• Confident using MS Office and SolidWorks

Junior Development Engineer

• Salary c. £30kish
• 2 years’ experience
• Drawing up our more basic products

Middleweight Development Engineer

• Salary c. £45k
• 5 years’ experience
• Will have the ability to develop more complex point of sale and display equipment ready for prototyping.
• Works on higher value projects.  

Senior Development Engineer

• Salary c. £60k
• 10 years’ experience
• Be able to develop a range of complex display equipment and store fixtures and fittings like cash desks, integrated wall units and mid floor systems
• Experience with core material sets, plastics, joinery and metalwork.
