Benefits Package: Comprehensive Benefits Package The role of the Designer - Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:

• Designer position dealing with a high end range of roofing and cladding systems such as: rainscreen cladding, single ply, composite roofing and cladding, SFS and liquid applied
• Produce 2D project specific working and fabrication drawings
• Liaise regularly with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to discuss any design related queries
• Liaise with systems manufacturers and suppliers
• Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries
• Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements
• Attend weekly design virtually and face to face as and when required
• Producing estimates for projects ranging in value from £2k to £1m
• Scope to progress into a Senior position

The ideal applicant will be a Designer - Roofing & Cladding Systems experience with:

• Must have 5+ years’ Design experience within the roofing and cladding market sector
• Familiar with a range of building envelope systems such as: standing seam, composite, rainscreen cladding, single-ply flat roofing, hot melt roofing, SFS, structural framing systems
• Must have AutoCAD experience
• Must have a sound understanding of building regulations
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Team player with a positive outlook
• Motivated, proactive, and driven individual
• Must be commercially aware and cost focused
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
