Hays Education is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Middlesbrough to recruit a Design & Technology Teacher for a full-time role starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the autumn term (Christmas 2025).??? Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
• Foster a safe and stimulating learning environment in workshops and classrooms
• Support students in developing technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
• Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives

? Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialism in Design & Technology (Product Design, Resistant Materials, or similar)
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply through Hays)
