Design Manager - Water - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyOur client, a Tier 1 contractor operating in the water industry, is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team in the West Midlands on a 6-month contract. Adopting a hybrid working model, you will split your time between site offices, 3 days a week, and home 2 days a week.Your new role

• Identify design scope and deliverables
• Review and challenge of the design programme
• Management of design deliverables
• Challenge design solutions to ensure DfMA and loq carbon solutions which meet the clients' affordability challenges
• Support the framework nominated principal designer
• Coordination and management of the project BIM strategy.

What you'll need to succeed

• HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Good technical understanding of water and wastewater processes and asset types
• Experience and knowledge of CDM (2015) Regulations.
