This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to lead a talented team in the design and analysis of advanced rocket motors and propulsion systems.The Opportunity:As Design Manager, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team of analysts and documentation configuration engineers, ensuring the delivery of technical excellence and project success. You'll be managing both strategic and day-to-day functions, working on cutting-edge propulsion systems and supporting the development of next-generation aerospace technologies.Key Responsibilities Include:- Leading and managing a team to deliver design, analysis, and documentation services in line with business goals.- Planning and prioritising tasks to meet immediate and mid-term engineering requirements.- Driving improvements in ballistic and stress analysis capabilities.- Ensuring high-quality technical documentation and enhancing on-time delivery performance.- Supporting bids and early concept phases for new propulsion technologies.- Managing people strategies including recruitment, development, training, and succession planning.- Engaging with internal stakeholders and external customers on technical matters.- Leading contributions to knowledge management and design standards within the department.About You:- We're looking for candidates with a strong engineering foundation and a proven track record in technical leadership.
