An international developer with a strong pipeline of regeneration projects has a newly-created Design Manager role to deliver the final stages of a high quality, high rise development in East London.

Client Details

My client is an established international developer with a strong track record of delivering high quality residential-led and hotel developments in the UK. They have a small but experienced team in central London which offers the opportunity to work in a broad role and have autonomy with direct input into decision making. They are recruiting a new Design Manager position on an initial 6 month contract to deliver the final stages and handover of a high rise development in East London with the potential to join on a permanent contract afterwards.

Description

• Manage and lead the external design team and main contractor
• Ensure design projects align with company and industry standards.
• Monitor project progress, adjusting as needed to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
• Engage in regular communication with stakeholders regarding design updates.
• Manage the handover process to the hotel operator as well as liaising with customer care for the residential units handover

Profile

A successful Design Manager should be:

• A qualified architect
• Proven experience working on high rise hotel and residential developments
• Either client monitoring or previous developer-side experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• An ability to balance creative design with practical considerations

Job Offer

• Salary range: £60,000-£65,000 per year
